Easter Happy Easter! Woke up at about 5+ in the morning for the sunrise service today! It was nice. :) There was one time when we all closed our eyes to pray while it was still dark, and when we opened our eyes, there was light. It was quite beautiful, as we sat there, facing the cross, with the morning sky as a backdrop. Well, it's Easter. Rejuvenation, rebirth.  Salvation, ascent.  Bunnies and eggs? Okay fine I understand why eggs but why bunnies! Is it just cos' they dont represent any festival? Like how reindeer are are associated with Christmas and turkeys are associated with Thanksgiving and lions are associated with the Singapore Kindness Movement.  You know, this one. Well anyway, the sermon was quite insightful, very well thought out. There was this rather funny joke: "A man was driving along a road, when suddenly a truck ran a red light and knocked into him. Passers-by dragged him out of the car, unconscious. After a while, he woke up, looked around, and then started panicking and fighting so violently that the medics had to use tranquilizer on him. When he woke up at the hospital, he seemed dazed and somewhat relieved. The nurse asked him why he had fought off the medics before. Turned out that when he woke up the first time, someone had been standing above him, blocking the red and yellow neeon 'S' from 'Shell' petrol station." Haha! The long weekend is over.
